§ Mr. McLoughlinThe Health and Safety Executive is not conducting any research into the effects of climate change attributable to the consequences of global warming. Research into the effects of climate change is outside the normal remit of the Health and Safety Executive. Government-funded research on this topic is the responsibility of my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment.
