§ Mr. HanleyThere is estimated to be some 2,900 people employed in the Northern Ireland fishing industry either on a full-time or part-time basis. This includes sea fisherman, fish farmers, those engage in processing and other ancillary occupations and commercial salmon and inland fishery enterprises.
