HL Deb 15 July 1992 vol 539 c28WA
Lord Bruce of Donington

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What steps they propose to take, other than by the usual press notices, to keep Members of both Houses of Parliament fully informed during the three months of recess of all important developments within the United Kingdom's presidency programme as these occur, and, in particular, of those relating to the finances of the Community.

The Earl of Caithness

The Libraries of both Houses of Parliament will be open during the recess. Copies of any depositable Community documents, on future financing or other issues, will be placed in the Libraries, and explanatory memoranda will be provided by departments in the usual way. Announcements of the outcome of meetings of the Council of Ministers will also be placed in the Libraries.
