To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will introduce proposals to amend the Social Security Pensions Act 1975 to introduce London weighting for pensioners.

We have no plans to introduce London weighting to the state retirement pension. Retirement pensions and other contributory benefits are part of a national scheme of contributions and benefits.
