To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to the answer by the President of the Board of Trade to the hon. Member for Altrincham and Sale (Sir F. Montgomery) of 24 June,Official Report, column 237, if he will make a statement on how (a) the recommendation of the Monopolies and Mergers Commission report on the Commonwealth Development Corporation that its financial structure be changed and (b) the other recommendations, will affect his Department's quinquennial review of the Commonwealth Development Corporation.

All the recommendations of the Monopolies and Mergers Commission report on the Commonwealth Development Corporation will be considered as part of the quinquennial review.
