§ Mr. Barry JonesTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will give the value of financial assistance offered or given by his Department towards the cost of drawing up the application for trust status or any other ways of promoting a move to trust status by(a) Clwyd Community and mental health services, (b) Glan Clwyd district general hospital and associated hospitals and (c) Wrexham Maelor hospital; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. David HuntFollowing the invitation to prepare a formal application to become an NHS trust in April 1993, a contribution of £38,000 was made available to each of the three health units in Clywd to help meet costs incurred within the application process.
