HC Deb 13 July 1992 vol 211 c433W
Mrs. Clwyd

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he has discussed the subject of human rights recently with the Government of Cameroon.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

The Government of the Cameroon are aware of the importance we attach to human rights. We have made representations to them about human rights, on several occasions both in Yaoundé and to the Cameroon ambassador in London. We shall continue to monitor the situation closely, and make representations whenever necessary.
