§ Mr. Kenneth CarlisleThe Department of Transport report, published annually in February, includes details of the Government's expenditure on trunk roads and on transport supplementary grant for local authority roads in England. It also outlines expenditure plans for the next three years. Schemes in the road programme were last set out comprehensively in "Trunk Roads, England—into the 1990s" published in February 1990. Trunk roads in Wales and Scotland are the responsibility of the respective Secretaries of State.
