§ Mr. Austin-WalkerTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Security what is the amount of money which the Government have recovered from overpayments of social security benefits not involving fraud under section 20 of the Supplementary Benefits Act 1976, and as amended by section 53 of the Social Security Act 1986, in each of the years since 1 April 1979, the maximum amount in any individual case claimed in each year, the average amount claimed, and the proportion that the total represents of all claims for overpayment.
