§ Mr. BurtIt is intended that members of the Armed Forces will be subject to the child maintenance provisions of the Child Support Act 1991 in the same way as they are currently subject to court orders for maintenance. The necessary amending legislation is intended to be brought before the House in time for the implementation of the new scheme in April next year.
