Mr. Morley

To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what was the total amount of all forms of agriculture support payments made in 1991; and what was the average amount of support payment per farm.

Reimbursement of spending on structural measures (Section III) is normally a year in arrears. Receipts for 1988–89 and subsequent years reflect the arrangements for depreciation Council in February 1988.
