§ Mr. Nelson[holding answer 1 July 1992]: I have received a number of representations on this matter. My right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer decided in December to limit the increase in the stamp duty threshold to a period of eight months. The Government have no plans to change that decision.
