§ Mr. MichaelTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many of the 15 recommendations of the Sports Council for Wales have been(a) accepted in full by the Commonwealth Games Council for Wales, (b) accepted in part and (c) rejected in respect of the organisation and funding of participation of Welsh teams at Canada and beyond.
§ Mr. David HuntI understand that the Sports Council for Wales considers that only three of the recommendations contained in its report on the management and administration of the Welsh team in Auckland in 1990 have been implemented in full. The council believes that some movement has been made on other recommendations, but not to the extent that it believes to be necessary.
