§ Mr. ForthThe Department is monitoring this year's expenditure of capital grant to voluntary-aided and special agreement schools through returns which the local education authorities have been asked to supply in July and October. Where allocations are not being fully spent, we shall seek to redeploy the sums involved to other worthwhile capital projects at aided schools, so long as the work could be completed and grant claims made before the end of the financial year.
