§ Mr. WigleyTo ask the Secretary of State for Health if she will give the total numbers of(a) sets of (i) twins, (ii) triplets, (iii) quadruplets, (iv) quintuplets, (v) sextuplets and (vi) septuplets born in England and Wales in each year from 1980 to 1991, (b) maternities in England and Wales in each year and (c) multiple births of each type in each year which were conceived as a result of (1) in vitro fertilisation, (2) gamete intra-fallopian transfer and (3) other forms of assisted conception.
