§ Mr. Archie HamiltonNo inquiry is necessary. The Army takes the most careful steps to prevent bullying and treats any cases which do occur very seriously. Since 1987, the number of substantiated cases of bullying in the Army has fallen from 31 a year to 11 in 1990 and six in 1991.
