§ Mr. LamontUnder section 2 of the Crown Estate Act 1961, the Crown Estate Commissioners are required to656W prepare, for each financial year, statements of account in a form directed by the Treasury. These are submitted to the Comptroller and Auditor General for examination and certification. A coy of the certified accounts is laid before Parliament.
