The Committee met on 17 May, 25 July, 25 September and 13 December 1991. The majority of those listed attended all of these meetings.

The main business of the committee was to commit grants from the European regional development fund and European social fund made available under the Industrial South Wales IDO for 1989–91. These grant allocations were substantially complete by the end of 1991.
