§ Mr. Garel-JonesThe text made available to Parliament on 16 December was in two parts, covering political union and economic and monetary union. In preparing this agreed text for signature these sections have been combined to form a single treaty text, the numbering of the articles of the text has been brought into line with those of the treaty of Rome and translations have been prepared. The final text of the treaty will be made available to Parliament immediately following signature.
