§ Mrs. ChalkerThe detailed implementation of this agreement on export and tied aid credits is still under discussion among OECD donors. Its effect on all such donors, including the United Kingdom, will be to reduce aid and trade distortions, and to focus international aid support in areas that need it most. The ATP is presently the subject of a review which will take account of this agreement. Decisions on the future level of the ATP budget will be taken in the light of the review and in the context of the annual planning and budgeting exercise for the aid programme as a whole.
