§ Mr. WakehamDetailed information concerning mineworkers accepting redundancy is a matter for the British Coal Corporation. In 1990–91 total restructuring grant paid by my Department to the corporation was £225.9 million. This included payments in respect of redundancies. The equivalent figure for the first three quarters of 1991–92 was £183.6 million.
