§ Mr. CurryThe paper covered the farm and conservation grant scheme available to farmers. Particular attention was paid to energy saving grants the aims of which are to encourage farmers to use renewable sources of energy, to help cut energy loss or to recover energy which would otherwise go to waste. They include, among others, the supply and installation of:
- Wind or water powered generators in excess of 5 kW.
- Wind powered pumps for field drainage.
- Solar Heating panels.
