HC Deb 20 January 1992 vol 202 c60W
Mr. Arbuthnot

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport when he expects to receive the report by the Health and Safety Executive on London Underground Ltd.'s quantified risk assessment methodology.

Mr. Freeman

I understand that the Health and Safety Executive is currently in possession of the latest updated risk assessment work from London Underground Ltd.. The HSE is awaiting LUL's supporting executive summary which will be available by 24 January and on receipt of this, it will then provide a report as soon as possible.

Mr. Arbuthnot

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport how many London Underground fires have been reported to the London fire brigade in each of the quarters since 1 April 1990, distinguishing between incidents dealt with by the fire brigade, incidents dealt with by London Underground's own staff before the fire brigade arrived, and cases where no cause or source of fire was found by either London Underground staff or the fire brigade.

Mr. Freeman

I understand from London Underground that the information is as follows:

Grateley, Andover, Whitchurch, Overton and Basingstoke which, if not achieved, will trigger compensation payments by British Rail to season ticket holders.

Mr. Freeman

The individual performance targets for each of the fifteen route groups of Network SouthEast and the related compensation arrangements will be set out in the BR passengers charter shortly. Monitoring of performance already occurs and the targets will apply from January 1992.
