§ Mr. Garel-JonesThe cohesion fund will benefit those member states with a per capita GNP of less than 90 per614W cent. of the Community average—that is, Spain, Portugal, Greece and the Republic of Ireland. The fund will provide finance for projects in the fields of the environment and trans-European transport infrastructure.
