§ Mr. John PattenThe commissioners have used their powers of inquiry in some 17 cases involving allegations of misuse or misappropriation of funds, during the last three years, by charities connected with the Sikh community living in the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. MaddenTo ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what(a) complaints have been received, in each of the last three years, and (b) what investigations have been undertaken by the Metropolitan police into the irregular expenditure of funds by organisations which promote the political, social and economic interests of the British Sikh community.
