§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyThe working group on confidential inquiry into stillbirths and deaths in infancy, set up by the Chief Medical Officer, gave advice about how the enquiry should proceed. That advice was based on experience gained from numerous locally based enquiries and did not recommend pilot studies.
