§ Mr. YeoBetween 1990 and 1992 my Department has provided 489 places in 19 hostels and 779 places in winter shelters in Greater London under the rough sleepers initiative. We have also provided bedspaces in permanent independent accommodation for rough sleepers to move on to. A list of the places made available in 1990, 1991 and so far in 1992 states:
