§ Mr. Nicholas BennettInformation on dwellings built by local authorities for sale is collected at the time of sale. Numbers of dwellings built under licence relate to those intended to be built at the time of disposal of land to the private developer and have been collected centrally only since the third quarter of 1990. Recorded activity since 1988 is given in the table:
