§ Mr. Alan HowarthThe cost of increasing the main rates of grant payable under the Education (Mandatory Awards) Regulations 1991 in line with with the Government's current estimate of inflation since those rates were last increased in 1990 would be £66.4 million. This figure assumes student numbers to be consistent with the autumn statement and that no other provisions of the regulations are changed.
