Member for Chelmsford, (Mr. Burns) on 20 December 1991, at column387, if he will list for each of the last three years (a) the number of complaints which his Department has received from members of the public regarding short measure beer and (b) the local authority trading standards departments which have submitted reports to his Department regarding short measure beer.
§ Mr. LeighMy Department received three complaints from members of the public in 1989, six in 1990 and 23 in 1991. The trading standards departments which have submitted reports are Barnsley in 1989; Bedfordshire, Tayside and South Tyneside in 1990; and Surrey, Greater Manchester, St. Helens and North Yorkshire in 1991.
