Mr. Flynn

To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) if he will make a statement on the effect upon the breeding and feeding grounds for the Penaid shrimp in the Tanajib Manifa embayment system of oil spilled during the Gulf war;

(2) what steps have been taken to restore the ecology for the wader and inter-tidal invertebrates in the Gulf following the Gulf war.
