§ Mr. VazTo ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will supply estimated traffic flow figures, in both directions, for the following sections of the Henwood proposals(a) the southern section from the Everards roundabout at the beginning of Soar Valley way to the A6 at Oadby, (b) from the A6 to the A47 and (c) from the A47 to the A46 Newark/Nottingham road.
§ Mr. ChopeThese proposals have not been promoted or examined by my Department and I have no information on traffic flows along their length. We are assessing traffic flows generally in connection with the Leicester eastern bypass scheme. This assessment will take account of the effect of other roads in the area.
