Mr. Dobson

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy whether, on his visit to Hong Kong in September 1988, the Minister of State took part in party-political activities in addition to official duties.

Mr. Wakeham

My right hon. Friend the Member for Chester (Sir. P. Morrison) met fellow Conservatives in the margins of official duties on his visit to Hong Kong in September 1988.
