§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyInformation on the number of patients waiting for radiotherapy is given in the table. The median waiting time for those treated from radiotherapy waiting lists in the Greater Manchester area was 23 days in 1988–89 and 22 days in 1989–90. Information is not yet available centrally for 1990–91.
The figures relate to South Manchester, the only health district in Greater Manchester where radiotherapy is carried out.
