§ Mr. YeoOpening Leigh Barton to the general public has not yet proved possible due to the extensive repair work which was necessary following its acquisition. However, interested groups have been allowed supervised visits since 1986. English Heritage is currently looking at the possibility of a beneficial use which would contribute to completion of the repair work and be compatible with some future public access.
