§ Dr. MawhinneyAll relevant IT systems in the Northern Ireland Office and Northern Ireland Departments are registered under the Data Protection Act and are therefore subject to this legislation. Each Department has registered for various purposes, and disclosure is addressed within each register entry.
For security reasons, it would be inappropriate to reveal which systems are linked to the police national computer or to other systems.
