Friend the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs made clear to the Indonesian Foreign Minister that we continue to support the United Nations Secretary-General in his efforts to promote contacts between Indonesia and Portugal to reach a settlement satisfactory to both sides, as called for in a United Nations General Assembly resolution of 1982.
