§ Mr. ForthIt is estimated from the April 1991 new earnings survey that average hourly earnings excluding overtime for "security guards and related occupations" were £5.07, and average total hours were 48.9 per week, of which 7.1 were overtime. The figures relate to full-time employees on adult rates whose pay was not affected by absence.
