§ Mr. Nicholas BennettThe initiative to combat alcohol misuse in Wales is independent of other campaigns and there is therefore no Welsh share. As part of this initiative a recurring amount of £150,000 was made available in 1990–91 and a further £150,000 was added in 1991–92, also recurring. Funds are not "earmarked" for each county; bids are considered on their merits. In 1990–91, the individual projects funded were as follows:124W

In view of the delay, funds will be allocated to additional projects on a non-recurring basis. Forecast outturn is estimated to be around £230,000.
