HL Deb 03 February 1992 vol 535 c3WA
Lord Molloy

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they have studied the recent Institution of Manpower Studies review entitled Caring Costs produced for the Royal College of Nursing, and whether they propose to discuss its recommendations with the relevant staff associations of the NHS.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health (Baroness Hooper)

I understand that the report referred to was submitted by the Royal College of Nursing to the review body for nursing staff, midwives, health visitors and professions allied to medicine as part of their evidence for the current pay review. We have not received a request for a discussion from the Royal College of Nursing or any other organisation.
