To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what preparations his Department is undertaking for the nuclear non-proliferation treaty first preparatory committee meeting; and if he will make a statement.

My Department works closely with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office on this subject, and will support the preparatory committee preparations as appropriate.
