The Attorney-GeneralDetailed costs are not yet available, but it is presently estimated that the cost to the Crown prosecution service of the proceedings to date is about £750,000.
Staff within my legal secretariat have occasionally been engaged on work arising from this case as part of their general duties. The amount of time so involved cannot be separately identified and costed.
