§ Mr. Robert JacksonThe Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food—MAFF—provides aid towards the costs of the National Collections of Industrial and Marine Bacteria—NCIMB). Following an approach from MAFF about the future of the NCIMB, the Office of Science and Technology has asked for an independent report from experts on the value of the collection as a national scientific resource.
