§ Mr. DafisTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales what response he has received from the European Commission to his representations concerning delays involving mistakes on claim forms for sheep annual premium payments.
§ Mr. David HuntThe European Commission has agreed that errors can be corrected without penalty (i) where component figures on a claim form are correct but are added incorrectly (ii) when farmers themselves contact the Department to point'out an error before the beginning of the relevant retention period, or during the retention period where the correct figures can be verified from a hill livestock compensatory allowance claim form and a flock count.
§ Mr. Jonathan EvansTo ask the Secretary of State for Wales, pursuant to his answer of 2 November,Official Report, column 9, whether he will publish a table by county of the disallowed claims for sheep annual premium for each of the years (a) 1989, (b) 1990, (c) 1991 and (d) 1992 to 30 October.
