21. Mr. McAllion

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland how many public speeches he has made on the future government of Scotland since 9 April.

Mr. Lang

My concern that the future government of Scotland should reflect Scotlands needs has been a prominent theme in many speeches I have made since the general election.

22. Mr. Canavan

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland when he expects to complete his stocktaking exercise on the governance of Scotland; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Lang

Our review of arrangements for the government of Scotland is progressing well and we will announce the outcome in the early part of next year.
