§ Mr. BaldryContractual arrangements in the construction industry are particularly complex. The Government have announced their proposal for a general review of contracting and are seeking the co-operation of the industry. We are also seeking to develop improved provisions for Government contracts and already require companies, wishing to be added to the list of approved contractors for Government work, to give general undertakings on prompt payment.
