§ Mr. NewtonI have now completed my consideration of this report and agree with its recommendations for changes in the rules relating to the format and wording of petitions. I will shortly table a motion to approve the report. If passed, this will give the Journal Office the necessary authority to implement the recommendations and prepare revised rules and guidance for Members. The changes do not involve any amendment to Standing Orders.
