§ Mr. Canavan
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what has been the total income to the Treasury since May 1979 from (a) privatisation and(b) North sea oil revenues.

§ Mr. Nelson
Between 1979–80 and 1992–93, privatisation proceeds are expected to amount to £50 billion, and North sea oil revenues to £72 billion.
