§ Mr. SackvilleWe have, from time to time, received letters from hon. Members and from the public. In each case the response has been that private ambulance services and their staff are not subject to any specific statute or regulation. It is for the prospective purchaser of private ambulance services to satisfy themselves that operators are competent to provide the required service.
