§ Mr. SainsburyBusinesses in these areas have access to a wide range of assistance provided by my Department with the support of the Sussex training and enterprise council. DTI services include the enterprise initiative, offering expert advice on different aspects of business development, " Managing in the 90s" and other support providing grants for the development of innovative ideas and projects. Help for exporters is available from overseas trade services operated by the DTI. The Federation of744W Sussex Industries, local enterprise agencies and other local business support organizations deliver a wide range of business services to Sussex companies.
My Department maintains regular contact with local authorities in East Sussex over economic development issues and inward investment opportunities.
